Boston, MA – 10th Annual Ethnic Ministry Summit Host City
Boston is a place filled with the rich and varied history of the "American Revolution" that ultimately led to the birth of the United States of America. The Freedom Trail, one of Boston's most popular attractions, is a free walking tour in downtown Boston tracing the history of the Revolution by connecting 16 historical sites. It is marked on the sidewalk by a red brick path, with each site designated by the bronze medallion pictured at left. Freedom’s call continues to the present. Over the last three decades, nearly one million people from over 100 nations have migrated into Greater Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. From a Christian perspective, we understand that true freedom in found only in Christ and in His invitation to express this freedom as citizens of His Kingdom. As such, we recognize the wonderful opportunity we have been given to express and expand the Kingdom of God by nurturing authentic intercultural connections between the many "nations" now present in our city. Save the dates for an unforgettable ministry experience at the 2010 Ethnic Ministries Summit.
Attendees of the 2010 Ethnic Ministries summit in historic Boston will:

The Pre-Summit Journey and the Long-Term Hopes
God seems to be granting us unusual favor in the planning of the Summit. The collaboration of the two partner churches is unique in and of itself. We have a great team of leaders--diverse in every way--that have been meeting together over the past two years who comprise our Local "Listening/Steering Team". The pre-summit journey has been a catalyst to developing deeper and wider intercultural relationships in the Body of Christ. Our long-term hope extends beyond the Summit to see a greater realization of Boston truly becoming "A City Without Walls". All Summit stakeholders are being urged to consider what new horizons the Summit journey can be a catalyst toward and what new innovations for expressing and advancing the Gospel might arise through and beyond the Summit. In addition to these hopes, we believe that great mutual benefit will be realized in the cross-pollination that will occur between the leaders from New England and leaders from across the USA and Canada.
